Divorce Attorney in Philadelphia

Albertine Y. DuFrayne concentrates her practice on cases involving simple and complex divorce, spousal support, child support, custody, parental rights, adoption, prenuptial and partnership agreements. Ms. DuFrayne grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She earned a Juris Doctor from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2001. 

Prior to joining Petrelli Law, P.C., Ms. DuFrayne worked for the Homeless Advocacy Project where she represented families living in shelters on a wide variety of matters.  She also served a two-year judicial clerked for the Honorable Ann M. Butchart in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Family Court Juvenile Division.

Ms. DuFrayne is an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and will serve as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division in 2010.  Some of her leadership activities include serving as Chair of Law Week Programs during 2008 and 2009, co-chairing the annual Comedy Night Fundraiser to benefit the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, participating in the Mentor Program and organizing volunteer events at the Ronald McDonald House.  She also served as treasurer for the Public Interest Section during 2006 and 2007.  She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Philadelphia VIP, the pro bono arm of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and is an active member of the University of Wisconsin - Madison Alumni Association of Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware Chapter.

Ms. DuFrayne presented a Continuing Legal Education course entitled Handling Credit Cases for Homeless Clients and participated as a panelist on the subject of Law Practice Management and Blogs.  Ms. DuFrayne has also presented the speech at several Naturalization Ceremonies where she had the opportunity to welcome dozens of new U.S. citizens on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
