The American Bar Association (“ABA”) has a Young Lawyers Division (“YLD”) made up of attorneys under the age of 40. This special subset tackles topics and issues relevant to those in the first stages of their career. It provides resources, connects practitioners nation-wide and creates a community sounding board.
The YLD has 35 committees, including one on law practice management. Recently, Diana C. Schimmel, Esquire was asked to write a column for the committee’s Spring newsletter on her experience opening her own firm and offering any advice to those pursuing the same path.
An honor in its own right, Attorney Schimmel is pleased to have been asked to contribute.
