Petrelli Previtera, LLC is proud to announce the promotion of LeAnne Cooper, Esq. to Partner.
With more than two decades of family law experience, LeAnne has become a driving force behind the firm’s growing Georgia practice. Based in Covington, she represents clients in divorce, custody, support, property division, adoption, and post-decree matters, helping families understand their options and move forward with clarity and stability.
“LeAnne has consistently demonstrated the level of excellence, leadership, and client commitment that defines our firm,” said Thomas Petrelli, founder and CEO. “She understands that our work is not simply about legal outcomes, but about guiding people through one of the most challenging periods of their lives with clarity and strength. Her dedication to elevating the client experience and mentoring others on our team makes her promotion to Partner both well-earned and exciting for the future of our firm.”
Co-founder and Managing Partner Melinda Previtera echoed that sentiment, emphasizing LeAnne’s ability to lead with both confidence and compassion.
“LeAnne embodies our mission in everything she does,” added Melinda. “She brings a rare combination of strategic insight and compassion to her clients and colleagues alike. Her ability to lead with both confidence and empathy reflects exactly what we stand for as a firm. We are incredibly proud to welcome her to the partnership and look forward to the continued impact she will make for our clients and our team.”
Since joining Petrelli Previtera, LeAnne has played a key role in expanding the firm’s presence in Georgia, including the recent move to a larger Covington office to better serve the community. Her leadership has strengthened the firm’s ability to support families facing high-conflict and high-stakes matters with thoughtful strategy and genuine care.
Before joining the firm, LeAnne led her own practice for more than 15 years, developing the leadership skills and strategic judgment that now shape her role within the firm. She also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, which strengthened her experience in complex legal matters and courtroom advocacy.
In addition to her work with clients, LeAnne has remained committed to advancing the legal profession. She has served as a panel speaker for the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education and as an adjunct civil litigation professor at Clayton State University, reflecting her dedication to mentorship, education, and professional excellence.
“I’m honored to step into this role,” LeAnne shared. “Helping families navigate change is work I take seriously, and I’m grateful to continue serving the Georgia community alongside such a dedicated team.”
LeAnne’s promotion reflects Petrelli Previtera’s continued commitment to leadership, excellence, and client-centered advocacy across every market the firm serves.
