Meet Marianne McGinty, Family Law Attorney
To Marianne McGinty, there is more to family law than achieving a successful resolution. She understands that emotions are high as her clients navigate divorce, custody, and other family law matters, and the process can get overwhelming. That’s why, in addition to providing top-notch legal representation, Marianne brings compassion and empathy to each of her cases. She actively listens to each client and offers big-picture solutions that help them look toward the future. To her, the best legal advocacy incorporates this personalized approach as much as it does bringing a strong strategy and rationale with opposing counsel.
Marianne is passionate about cases in which she advocates for individuals who would otherwise not have achieved the best outcomes. Custody issues are especially meaningful to her. For example, a previous client had spent years trying to navigate the legal system to win full custody of his children, but he was falling short in the process. He hired Marianne, whose passion and relentless advocacy led him to achieve achieve full legal and full physical custody. Another client once told her that she did not want to give her children a childhood they “had to recover from”—a sentiment that continues to resonate with her. It was case experiences like these that emphasized the importance of staying future focused while minimizing the stress that often comes with family law matters.
A lifelong Pennsylvania resident, Marianne was born and raised in Lower Bucks County and graduated from Neshaminy High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rider University, she earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA.
