Experienced Western North Carolina family law attorney joins the firm’s new Asheville office.
ASHEVILLE, NC — July 2026 — Petrelli Previtera, LLC has welcomed Mark Upright to its North Carolina family law team as the firm expands its services throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina.
Mark has practiced family law in North Carolina since 2006 and brings a career-long commitment to helping children and families. His experience includes divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, support matters, mediation, and service as a court-appointed parent coordinator.
His approach emphasizes listening first, helping clients understand the process ahead, and determining whether issues can be resolved through negotiation or require stronger courtroom advocacy. He also brings a financial background that can be particularly valuable in property division matters involving businesses, retirement accounts, and other significant assets.
