Associate Attorney
Nicholas Santoni is a family law attorney at Petrelli Previtera, LLC, focusing his practice on divorce and custody matters. He is known for his grounded approach, combining direct communication, diligence, and a strong focus on listening to help clients understand their options and move forward with realistic expectations during challenging transitions.
Nico works closely with clients to understand their goals and translate them into a clear legal strategy. Before joining Petrelli Previtera, Nico gained litigation experience representing clients in commercial and employment matters, where he managed cases, drafted pleadings and motions, and participated in negotiations and court proceedings. This experience allows him to adapt his approach based on each client’s needs, whether pursuing resolution or advocating more assertively when necessary.
Nico earned his Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he was a Top 4 finalist in the Louis V. Fasulo 1L Moot Court Competition. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Nico has spent much of his life in the Washington, D.C. area. Outside of his practice, he enjoys traveling and exploring new cuisines, often seeking out opportunities to experience different cultures firsthand. He also enjoys visiting local coffee shops. Nico speaks Spanish and Italian and values connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
